Happy New Year everyone!
Goodness knows what it will bring. Lots of uncertainty for many jobs, health, family etc but hopefully some fun, laughter and enjoyment too.
Yesterday it was my Hubby's birthday and we went out for lunch and then a little shopping as Sophie has some Christmas money (and birthday money left) Sophie bought a very stylish purple tunic top. I found a lovely cardigan too.
We got home and our neighbours popped round for a drink, nibbles and a chat. They have a 2 year old who needed to go to bed, so we then went back to theirs and meet one set of their parents to see in the New Year. Whilst out hubby found some rocket fireworks and set those off much to the children's delight!
We then had a little go at playing Roulette. Now, earlier in December at my works Christmas party they had a Roulette wheel and it was all for fun. The winner with the most chips at the end of the evening won a bottle of champagne. It was easy to understand, not so easy to win anything, but a good laugh. So we found one in a toy shop and played it one evening at home and then took it with us last night. We should have started earlier, but we were chatting, but good fun none the less.
It was all low key but made a nice change to see in the New Year with different people.
I wish you all a safe and happy New Year to anyone who has visited, commented, lurked, passed through or has popped by to read a post or a tutorial. The places from which some of you visit is amazing. Someone visited from the Yemen last month!
I hope to add to my tutorial list this year, may not be brand new ideas, just my way of doing things but may be of interest.
I am now off to see what the first installment of the Sketchbook challenge is. have a great day!
