And the winners are........

This was astonishing!! Where did you all come from? Well I can tell much more easily since I put the map on my blog. The interest in this giveaway has been such a massive surprise to me, my husband could not beleive it either and has sat down to have a look as well.

Due to the interest and to say thank you for taking part and showing such massive support I am going to have a first prize of the purse and 3 runners up making 4 winners in all. Now I am taking part in a craft fair tomorrow and the additional prizes will come from my stock.

I used a random number picker (which I may use for my lottery numbers it is so easy to use) so we can blame that can't we? I did delete duplicate comments, one that had nothing to do with the competiton and Piciolio who request not to take part because she has won before and one that was submmitted too late (Sorry) . So the final number of comments was 55.

Winner of the Cath Kidston fabric purse is Number 18: Obsessed Scrapbooker! Congrats!

Three runners up are:
Number 51... Knit - R- Done.

Number 7... Lesha. Keyring from stock.
Number45...Ursula. Keyring from stock.
Could everyone please send me their snail mail address via my email which is in my profile and I shall send them on Tuesday.
I shall definatley have another giveaway in the future this was fun to do. I have also found some new blogs which I shall be adding to my list in the margin over the next few days.
Please, I do not want you all to disappear into blogland never to be seen again! Do pop back, after the craft fair I shall be adding to my Etsy shop, (which I have nearly emptied) with all of the new items I have made. Also popping by to say hello is what this is all about. I do have another tutorial in the pipeline. I am hitting a busy and crucial time at work so watch this space.
The attic conversion is nearly finished and I shall be posting photos to show the before and after effect as well. Sophie is up there with Dad helping to paint, so I think that I am safer down here!
Again, a massive thank you for taking part and comfirming to me that starting a blog was a good move and I shall continue to come up with more ideas etc.
Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday.
I am off to do some washing, pricing up for tomorrow and some ironing, all the fun things in life.
Take care

Comment link contest: Yes! there is a prize!

Over at Nannybird (USA) she is running a blogversary contest to celebrate her first full year with blogger. The idea is that you read about the contest on her blog and the rules then leave a comment on her post saying you came from me. You can then post about the contest if you want and someone will comment and say that they were sent/came from you and so on. It is amazing how quickly things spread.

Would you be surprised to now that I was given this by Nannybi I passed it on and now I see this award everywhere!

The deadline is midnight her time and the clock is in her blog side margin. Nannybird is about 6 hours behind us. You will also be able to view the prizes on that post, so if you are curious and look then comment while you are there. If you are not worried about taking part personally then please leave a comment anyway and say I sent you then it would help me win (please, please, begging, grovel.) because she has a killer crochet bag that would make my day if it landed on my door mat!! I can not really crochet hence the green monster envy!

Nothing else to report and no photos either, sorry . Judging by the weekend weather forcast I would have better luck if I hand drew them for you! However, the three of us are emptying the attic and garage tomorrow (yippeee) so I am really hoping that it does not rain as we load it to take to a self store unit!!

Have a good weekend and remember Nannybird, comment, indigo blue, please.
Bye
xx

Wow.. what a week...

Started the week by handing over Kirsty's quilt and surprise cushion in the privacy of her office as the middle of the staff room did not seem right. Kirsty seemed very pleased with it and I hope it will be nice to snuggle under during the long winter evenings watching a DVD. Enough room for two as well...
Then I found out I have gone up to the next pay level at work and that it is going to be back dated to September.
Yesterday I logged on to http://u-handbag.typepad.com/uhandblog/ discover that my bag
is one of three winners for the October Amy Butler Pattern Challenge. (scroll down a bit to find bag post). Well I was like a cat that got the cream and was so chuffed that I nearly forgot to make a 50th card for a colleague at work so I end up staying up until gone midnight finishing it.
I am lucky enough to choose another pattern as my prize and choosing which one took AGES to make.

Today has gone well and tomorrow it is Sophie's 5th Birthday so a party is to be staged on at the weekend.
As for my tutorial well I went and left it at work yesterday so only had half of it here but I am going to post it this weekend.
I have also had fun developing these little prams which may progress into an order in the New Year. They will certainly be adapted to make a small range of cards and I like bits of each so a few more combinations have yet to be made.
I have an idea for the person who is the 100th hit on this blog, more on than later.
Enjoy the evening.
