OPAM Draw winner

I am not a particularly lucky person when it comes to raffles etc but in the month of December I was lucky enough to have my name drawn out for the December OPAM draw.

Peg of Happy in Quilting then sent the below parcel.

Lovely "Happy Post" to find after a long day at work.

A lovely mug rug which I think is too nice to use but I have been told by Peg that I must so I think it will go by my bed along with my reading books.

Some gorgeous thread which is attached to a very attractive piece of card.

Plus a DVD by Lynette Anderson.  Now I had promised myself that I would watch this on Friday night but guess what I was doing?  I finished some marking then went to the sewing room to try and finish off a UFO then by the time I got down stairs it was a bit late.  Not enough time is there.  I will book another date you can be sure.

Need another look at that gorgeous mug rug.  Hand and machine stitching in lovely summery colours.
