We're Back and two Awards passed on..

Due to Hubby being self employed now (and work is going ok at the moment), he decided that seeing as work was a little quiet that we would have a few days in Chesterfield to visit his Aunt and some friends. it was a bit of a whirlwind visit but we came back today. Tiger has been fetched from the cattery, Sop0hie is playing up in the attic, hubby is finding something for dinner at Tesco and I am contemplating the washing! We visited Chatsworth and Bakewell, had a good drive round and the skies were very blue and the sun shone, a little nippy but then it is April. We were fed and made welcome and it was brilliant. We have had instructions not to leave it another 8 years before we go back again! Everyone now has children of the own and it was quite manic with all of them running around as they are all 7 or under and I lost count how many the final total was. Should now at a glance being a teacher but my Child counting radar is turned off for the next two weeks!

I did not do any sewing at all, did buy a few bits but nothing to get excited about and now I have come home with renewed vigour to make Sophie's new curtains and finish my latest swap entry. I did manage to do some reading back at the hotel which was a nice change. I will update you all with crafty stuff before the weekend. I was naughty and did not take any photos while we were away but sometimes you just don't feel like it do you?

I am a bad blogger because Kitty gave me this award ages ago and it got lost in all the pictures in my file, sorry Kitty!
I can not remember the rules for this either, detention for me.
